Carer Support and Respite Centre Inc. (CSRC) is a government funded, not for profit organisation and is a leader in South Australia in supporting family Carers who live in southern and eastern metropolitan Adelaide.

 We are currently seeking a motivated individual that has solid experience within the community services sector wanting to expand on their career. Reporting to the CEO, this pivotal management role oversees the Commonwealth Carer Respite and Carelink Centre and a range of Carer Support programs.

 Working as part of a Carer focused and dedicated management team, this hands on role offers both variety and challenge. In brief, the responsibilities include:

·         Providing direction and leadership to staff in line with the strategic organisational and program objectives;

·         Overseeing the development and implementation of Tailored Programs incorporating Annual and Triennial work Plans;

·         Assist in the preparation and development of funding applications to secure government grants;

·         Development of Policies and Service Delivery frameworks in line with Funding obligations and requirements;

·         Responsibility for the establishment, maintenance and forecasting of program budgets of $1m plus funding.

 A demonstrated background in a management or supervision role from within the Carer industry is preferred. Managers from within the Aged Care, Disability or related sectors looking for a new challenge are also encouraged to apply.

 Applicants will ideally possess tertiary qualifications in a Human Services or related Discipline. Highly developed business acumen, solid communication and interpersonal skills are essential to this role.

 A salary package including a $60,000 base salary, plus 9% super and a fully maintained vehicle is offered with this role (additional packaging options also apply).
