I care for someone...

With an Intellectual Disability

Here at Carer Support, we know that it can be challenging to care for someone with an intellectual disability or with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Responding to those who need you, as well as juggling work and family life, can mean there isn’t much time for you.

Carer Support is funded to provide specific support for those caring for someone with intellectual disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder. Basically, this means there is a specific team dedicated to your respite and support needs. They will assess your individual situation in order to provide the most responsive and relevant support possible and guide you through the list of available services.

As well as the many general Carer events and workshops, you can access specific activities for Carers of people with intellectual disability.
