Losing the person you care for can mean that you are not only losing someone you love, but your known way of life too. This transition time can be very difficult as you deal with both your grief and sense of purpose in life.
It can really help to meet with others who understand and there are groups in the South and East metro areas of Adelaide that welcome new members.
The Retired Carers Meeting
Held on the second Thursday of each month, there’s good food, good company and the salad bar is included. New members always welcome!

S.O.S. (Stepping Out Socially)
S.O.S.is a group whose purpose is to offer opportunities for Carers and Past Carers to socialise together. Their varied activities include music concerts, lunches and friendly conversation.
